KRSSO focuses on multi-dimensional programs designed to create a conducive environment for Afghan growth and development:
Socio-economic Empowerment of Women: Projects aimed at increasing women’s participation in entrepreneurship and socio-economic interventions. This includes training women business leaders and strengthening women-led enterprises and associations.
Humanitarian Assistance and Emergency Response: Delivering critical aid such as food distribution, shelter, clean water, and healthcare services to populations affected by conflict, drought, and natural disasters like earthquakes and floods.
Health and Hygiene (WASH): Interventions specifically in the eastern and northern regions of Afghanistan. Projects include:
Provision of clean water and “WASH in Schools”.
Distribution of hygiene, “mama,” and dignity kits.
Promoting health partnerships and enabling community health facilities.
Education and Advocacy: Addressing the lack of resources and educational facilities, particularly for girls. Key activities include:
Establishing community-based schools.
Teacher training and capacity building.
Promoting online education and skill-based learning.
Agriculture and Livelihood: Projects aimed at improving agricultural practices for rural communities. This includes:
Distribution of improved seeds and modern farming training.
