Civic Education

KRSSO’s civic education programs refer to the generic awareness raising among the local communities of Afghanistan about different fundamental civil affairs issues to help them understand those and increase their participation and support for the government of Afghanistan. KRSSO provides a civic education program consisting of the following topics:

  1. The government of Afghanistan, its three branches, and their rights and responsibilities
  2. Human rights, especially the rights of women and rights of persons with disabilities
  3. Parliament, electing the representatives, and their responsibilities
  4. Citizens of Afghanistan, their rights and responsibilities
  5. Citizens of Afghanistan, their rights and responsibilities
  6.  Elections and the power of vote and its value
  7. Democracy from an Islamic point of view
  8. Peace and Stability
  9. Education for all
